Westwood Music Studios has lenient scheduling, cancelation, and payment polices to accommodate the needs of Cresskill families. Rock Band Classes — more than just private lessons

One of our most popular programs for school-age students in Cresskill, NJ and the surrounding area is our Rock Band Class. Students are grouped by age, level, and musical interests to form real bands. The 10-week program ends with a live performance at a local venue. This provides students with the opportunity to play music with others and experience performing live before an audience in a professional setting.

Recitals

We hold multiple recitals throughout the year. Recitals are an opportunity for students to perform and share their music with other students, family, and friends. Preparing for a recital encourages practice and sets goals.

Violin Program Includes a Free Violin Rental

If your child is curious about violin, our 6-week Violin Program includes a free violin rental. When you sign up and pay for the 6 weeks, you get a free violin rental for that time period. After the initial 6 weeks, you can sign up for another 6 weeks and maintain use of the violin – it’s ongoing. You also have the option to buy it at a reduced price. This removes the cost barrier of having to rent or buy a violin first, that often keeps many families from starting violin at all.

Online Lessons Available

Can’t make it in person? Online lessons are available via Zoom, FaceTime, and WhatsApp. In-person students can also switch to online for a week when weather or a conflict gets in the way — no lesson missed, no lesson lost.
