All Westwood Music Studios students have the opportunity to join our Rock Band Program. Students are grouped in bands according to age, playing level, and musical interests. The bands meet once a week, during which time each student learns their part and rehearses together with the band.
Playing music with others teaches social interaction, cooperation, and teamwork. In today’s society of excessive digital screen time, kids don’t get to communicate with one another in person as much. Music is one of the best vehicles of communication and positive self-expression, so the benefits of Rock Band Classes reach far.
At the end of each Rock Band Program students perform a live, public concert for friends, family, and the community.
